The Brief
This terraced house in Southfields, within the London Borough of Wandsworth, lacked sufficient space for a growing family. The existing accommodation was constrained, and the owners required additional bedrooms without altering the character of the street-facing façade.

The Solution
We designed a loft extension that added a full additional storey to the rear roof slope while maintaining the original appearance of the house from the street. The new level accommodated two bedrooms, one bathroom, and generous storage within the eaves.

The project was delivered under Permitted Development, avoiding the need for a full planning application. We prepared the Building Control documentation and coordinated the technical design to ensure an efficient construction programme and timely delivery.

The extension significantly increased the usable floor area and improved the long-term functionality of the home for the family.
