Poppy Design Ltd offers services within Architecture & Interior Design, our comprehensive approach combined with years of experience can help adding value to your space, step by step. We can assist you with all the project phases whether you are a first time buyer, a landlord or a developer. We specialise in Architectural Design, Planning Applications, Building Control and Project Management. We work closely with the local Planning Authorities in London and pride ourselves on having obtained all the permissions.

Poppy Design has extensive experience in restoration of listed buildings, renovation of period properties in conservation areas, as well as in the construction of extensions, conservatories, loft conversions and additional storeys.

How we work:
You can request a free consultation and we will contact you to discuss your your needs, vision and goals. Ideally following the initial assessment a site visit should be arranged to have a feel of the space and carry out a measured and photographic site survey to gather all the existing dimensions and to document the existing condition of the property. Usually the initial drawings are prepared within 2 weeks. They generally include a couple of options for the client to consider and may be discussed with our consultants for the best proposal. Once everything is finalised and approved by the client, the application will be submitted to the local authorities.
BASSIANO
CALZOLATO
is an Architect and Interior Designer with a wide range of experience in UK and in Italy who can help you on all the construction phases of your project.
He completed his studies at the Architectural University Institute of Venice in 2002 and attended the Professional Practice & Management course at the Bartlett University College of London in 2009.

His professional experience started in Italy, where he was involved in a wide range of conversion and restoration projects of listed buildings. His career then evolved in London where he collaborated with several firms on residential projects and some of the most iconic airports and rail stations.
He established Poppy Design Ltd in 2013, a micro architectural practice to assist his clients.
